River Kairijoki is fairly small wilderness river that has many possibilities for enthusiastic fishermen. The river is perfect for fly fishing. These waters are good natural living places of trout, brown trout, white fish and white trout. There are several good fishing places within the walking distance of the wilderness center.

If you want to get to the fishing places a little bit further away it is best done by canoeing or by car driving the forest roads. You can also take a bicycle from Kairijoen eräkeskus to get to the one.

Fishing licence can be bought from wilderness center between 9 AM - 10 PM
